Dondra Lighthouse, the southernmost point of the island, is about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Additionally, the hotel can assist with transportation, including tuk-tuk services for guests who prefer not to walk.

Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience, tucked away from the hustle. The lush jungle surroundings give it a serene and beautiful vibe, making it a perfect getaway. The rooms overlooking the garden and pool were charming, and the meals were simply unforgettable. While the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, the warmth of the atmosphere and the quality of food more than made up for it.
We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at The Spice House. The warm welcome with fresh juice and the beautiful surroundings made us feel at home right away. The staff was attentive and genuinely cared about our comfort. The food was delicious and plentiful, although we wished there were even more dinner options. The proximity to the beach was a bonus, but we did encounter some noise from the nearby roads at times.
Our stay was simply magical! The hotel is tucked away in a beautiful oasis, just a stone's throw from the beach. The hosts, Phil and Wathsala, were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. The only downside was the hike to our room, which might not be ideal for everyone. Overall, we found it to be an exceptional experience with stunning surroundings and delicious food.
